Colonel Dr. Lila Raj Koirala acquired his Masters and Ph. D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Federal Armed Forces Hamburg, Germany. He served the Nepalese Army for over 20 years as Production In Charge, Technical Service In Charge and Commanding Officer. He also worked part-time as lecturer in Kathmandu Engineering College (KEC), and at present is a full-time Associate Professor at KEC. Colonel Koirala participation as UN Peace Keeper in the Mission to Haiti, Labanon and South Sudan as Maintenance Platoon Commander and Patrol Leader of the Nepalese Army. He has also visited the USA, Germany, England, France, Netherlands, Denmark, Dominican Republic, India, China, Belgium, Uganda, and Kenya. Dr. Koirala was a gold Medalist being the Topper in B.Sc. in Amrit Science College in 1988. He was awarded Mahendra Bidhya Bhusan as Ph. D. Holder, and has won several medals as UN Peace Keeper. He has participated and presented papers in several international conferences held in Germany, Poland and Slovakia.
